For the Christian, love and obedience go hand-in-hand-hand. If sin is committed from habit or Christian responsibility is not taken, love for God is hindered and love for others diminished. There is desire to keep the commandments of God because love allows us to see that they are holy, just, and good. How well we follow is measure of how deeply we love (I John 1:1-3).
